What is The Trip?
THE TRIP™ is a fully immersive workout experience that combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally-created worlds. With its cinema-scale screen and sound system, THE TRIP takes motivation and energy output to the next level, burning serious calories.
What is the difference between a stationary bike, and the bikes at CYCMODE?
Stationary bikes address lower-body strength and conditioning. Our bike is like no other indoor bike on the planet. Our unique, patented articulating frame technology lets the rider - any rider, novice to pro - fully engage their body and mind in a one-of-a-kind tactile, dynamic and functional riding experience. You’ll be able to steer and lean, and balance on top of. Visit the studio, to register for the Taking the Wheels Off session from July 5 – July 21. If you prefer to be stationary, no problem, we offer a locking feature for the bike
What should I expect when I get to the studio?
Arrive 15 minutes early to your first class and let the front desk staff know that it's your first visit. A staff member will take you through a brief orientation to get you ready.
I’m late, what happens?
Riders will not be admitted into class once it has begun. We release bikes 5 minutes before class if you have not checked in yet. No exceptions, sorry.
What should I wear?
Leggings, shorts, T-shirts and tank tops are recommended cycle wear. Proper cycling shoes, however, are definite must! Because our bikes offer two shoe options, we do not offer shoes. So bring a SPD cleat or wear regular athletic shoes.
Do you have lockers?
Yes, we have digital lockers.
Do you have water?
Yes, we have a hydration station where you can fill up your water bottle before and after class. If you didn’t bring a water bottle, we have bottles available for purchase in our retail space.
Do you have showers and towels?
We offer complimentary towel service for your class, however we do not have showers.
Do you have childcare in the studio?
No.

How Do I Get There & Parking Info

Bus/Train station?
We’re 1.5 blocks from Roosevelt & State CTA lines. Click on the hyperlink to see their schedule.
Major cross street?
Wabash/Roosevelt. We are located on Wabash between (13th and 14th street
Where can I park?
Street and metered parking are all options.

Age

How old do I have to be to take class?
The minimum age is 13 years old. Anyone under 18 will require a parent or guardian’s to fill out this form to register for classes.

Fitness Level

Do I need to be in great shape?
Our classes are designed to accommodate every level, from beginners to serious riders. Our classes focus on improving endurance and strength – and your bike allows you to set a resistance so you know exactly what you can handle. Go at your own pace, and we will be there to encourage and support you! 
How many calories do men and women typically burn per session?
Our rides typically burn between 500-1000 calories.
Are classes safe?
Yes. We follow every best practice protocol in the fitness business. Note: We recommend that you consult your physicians for guidance on an exercise program that is safe for you.
Can I take class if I’m pregnant?

Cancellation

When do I have to cancel to avoid penalty?
You must cancel by 5:00 PM the day before your scheduled class in order to avoid penalty. This enables us to release your seat to another rider. If you cancel after 5:00 PM, you will forfeit the class credit. You can cancel a class by going to ‘My Account’ on the CYCMODE website.
How does the wait list work?
If someone in your wait listed class cancels their reservation before 5:00 PM the day prior, the first person on the wait list will receive a text from us, asking if he or she would like the available spot. If that’s you, you have 15 minutes to respond YES. If you don’t respond, we’ll text the next person on the wait list. If you respond YES, the spot is yours and you will receive a confirmation via text and email.

Refer A Friend

How does Refer-A-Friend work?
For every new friend you refer who signs up for a class, you CYCMODE points that can be used towards class series package. Once your friend creates an account through your link and spends at least $40, you'll receive $20 in CYCMODE cash that you can apply to future class credits. What is the pricing for classes?

How do I buy classes?
Head to the Buy page to view your credit pack and membership options
How can I sign up for class?
Every Sunday at 12:00 PM, the booking window opens for the upcoming week. Click on the SCHEDULE link to sign up for our favorite class and/or instructor.
Do you allow drop-ins?
Yes, we allow drop-ins. Call or check online to make sure the class you want to take has bikes available.
Can you share class packages?
No, you may not share CYCMODE packages.
How do I cancel a ride package or commitment plan?
You may cancel your purchase of a single ride, ride package, or commitment plan at any time before midnight of the third business day after the date of your purchase, including Sundays and holidays. To cancel, e-mail or deliver a signed and dated notice which states that you are canceling your purchase, and send it to hello@cycmode.com Attention: CANCELLATION

Managing Your Membership

How do I cancel my class reservation?
You can cancel under ‘My Account’ on the CYCMODE website.
How do I change my membership?
You can upgrade or downgrade your membership by emailing hello@cycmode.com. All changes to your membership will happen on your next billing date.
Can I freeze my membership?
Please note that a membership freeze is only permitted for medical reasons. To request a freeze, send a doctor’s note to hello@cycmode.com. We do not freeze memberships for travel, vacation, or any other non-medical circumstances.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel a membership, email hello@cycmode.com. Please note that we require 30-day advanced notice from the start of your next billing date. We do not pro-rate. For example, if you cancel on September 10, 2017, your account will officially close on October 31, 2017.

Billing Issues

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept American Express, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

Performance

Can my instructor see my performance stats?
The instructor sees your performance only when it’s flashed up on the board.
How often do I need to take classes to see results?
For maximum effect we strongly recommend coming in three times per week. For best results, couple your fitness regimen with a well-balanced diet.
How do I track my performance?
A personalized performance summary is recorded after each class and synced to your profile page. Along with tracking individual performance measures like Power, RPM, Speed, Distance, Heart Rate, Energy, and Burned Calories, you’re also able to track your progress over time.
